Ella Erickson is 1 of 4 women selected from the US to compete at World Champs on August 27th this year! She is on the USA national downhill team, but does not receive any monetary support for racing yet (other than the support from her fantastic parents, Todd & Jen).

A Hayden, Idaho local, Ella has an impressive racing resume for her young 19 years:
- 5th at World Champs in 2020
- Junior US national champion 3 times
- 4th in national champs this year
- 4th at her first ever enduro, the North American Enduro Cup, an EWS qualifier
- 4th, 3rd, 2nd, & 1st in this year's NW Cup races that she has raced. That's a podium every time!
- 15th place in the Mont Sainte Anne World Cup!!
This is Ella's first year racing the World Cup series as an elite woman, and she has been to almost every World Cup this year. On Saturday, she placed 15th at the Mont Sainte Anne World Cup!!! This is a huge accomplishment for her, and I have no doubt that she has a very bright future in downhill mountain bike racing.
On top of her incredible racing resume, Ella is also a wonderful person. She just hosted a women's and girl's ride at Silver Mountain Resort, in partnership with e*thirteen, and will be hosting another one on August 19th. Her goal for these rides is to help other women and girls build confidence, make new friends, learn new skills, and of course bring more women to the sport.
