Help send Emma to World University Championships!

This past April, University of Vermont competitive climbing team member Emma Wetsel competed in Collegiate nationals in the Speed Discipline. She ended up finishing in 1st place, qualifying her for the US National Team. This June, Emma has been invited to compete in the World University Championships in Innsbruck, Austria to represent both the US and UVM.
Sadly, the University of Vermont is unable to provide any financial assistance to support her and our team with this once in a lifetime opportunity. Emma will be representing our university on a world scale, facing off against the best collegiate athletes in the Speed Discipline.
We are looking to raise $950 to cover the costs of registration - which include: Transportation, Housing, and event participation. These funds will directly impact Emma's future in the sport and future opportunities to come in regards to Speed Climbing. Rock climbing has notoriously been a high entry cost sport - we do not want to let the costs of such an amazing opportunity to impede on Emmas ability to pursue what she is passionate about.
Thank you,
Emma Wetsel and her friends on the UVM Competitive Climbing Team
