Hey there!

My name is Ellen and I am Esther’s mother. I am helping Esther raised enough money to make her final payment for her Vanuatu Humanitarian trip. Ideally, I would just help her cover what she couldn’t cover, but as life would have it, that is not possible right now. Between my husband’s career change, building a house, raising 9 children and economy shifts such as inflation and higher interest rates, we have been caught in a financial bind. So I am turning to you in hopes that Esther can make her final payment and go to Vanuatu!

This summer, Esther is embarking on a journey to the beautiful island of Vanuatu (off the coast of Australia), specifically to the village of Pango, for a three-month stint with the International Language Program (ILP). Her mission? To teach English to kids who are eager to learn. Esther has always wanted to do a humanitarian service project and this is fulling that desire.

Why English? Well, mastering this language opens up a world of opportunities for these children and their families. It's a skill that can shape their futures in ways we can't even imagine. Plus, on a personal note, She can't wait to immerse herself in a new culture and gain a fresh perspective on the world.

Now, here's where you come in. As a volunteer, she has a program fee of $4,470 to cover her travel, housing, and meals. Plus, she also needs to pay for her insurance, cover gofundme fees, buy school supplies for the children and have extra spending money to explore the Island. She has been hustling, selling nativities and working odd jobs, and even donating plasma to scrape together the first $2,500. But she still needs our help to reach her goal since she is also a student at BYU and paying for it herself. It has been a real struggle to come up with enough money for both.

She needs to make her last payment by March 1st!
