Hi. My name is Kelsey. I am a Lafayette Jefferson high school varsity cheerleader. Currently a junior. This is my second year of being on the varsity squad. I have been cheering since the 3rd grade. Cheering has been my long life dream. I plan to go to college after high school and cheer. Along with becoming a UCA instructor. I will travel around the world to teach cheerleaders dances, motions, stunts, cheers and chants. This year I was nominated AND selected to go to Cheer Hawaii USA!! We are nominated and selected based off our athletic skills, passion for cheerleading, interested in continuing cheerleading at the college level, leadership, academic success, and community involvement. Being selected to go to Cheer Hawaii USA is a dream I have wanted since I was a little girl. We will fly to University of Hawaii. The beautiful island of Oahu. I will be cheering with girls all around the world learning at a college level. Cheer Hawaii focuses on 3 main areas: building cheer skills and preparing for the college level, growth in leadership, and experiencing the Hawaiian culture.


My fees are $2595, plus my plane tickets. The price includes:

• Dorm room at University of Hawaii
• Touring and cultural activities - paddle canoe, beach BBQ, dance hula, attend the Polynesian Cultural Center and Pearl Harbor Memorial, and many more!
• 3 meals per day
• All ground transportation, lei greeting at airport
• Workout uniforms, bag, instructional materials
• All camp instruction
• Does NOT include roundtrip airfare to Honolulu.
• The tentative dates are June 23 – June 30, 2021.

I know that it may sound expensive which it truly is, but it would be a dream come true if I could go. I am not asking for a large donation or sponsorship. Any amount isn’t too small.


As a junior in high school being selected is such a honor. A little more about myself- I am a First Edition and Varsity singer for my school choirs I work at Teays River Brewing & Public house. I juggle 3 school activities, school and work. I am dedicated to all and I promise I will not disappoint. I will send pictures of me on the beach, at practices, from adventures and you will be able to watch our Finale Showcase on the last day. I can even bring you a souvenir as a thank you.

I am trying to help my Mom raise money for me to go as she is a single parent and has enough on her plate. I am also putting my own money towards my fees. I just want to take some of the finances off my Mom.
