I'm doing Third Year in England!
After completing the Second Year Program at BSSM, graduates get to apply for Third Year, which gives us the opportunity to be mentored by affiliated leaders within the Bethel Church Community including the global church. When starting Second Year in 2020, I knew that I wanted to pursue Third Year and I had a leader in mind. I learned a lot this year and God is the greatest gift and remains the greatest person that I have ever received. I've laid down dreams, my future, and my life to wanting to serve and love King Jesus.
I knew God was on Third year, so I decided to apply for a leader that I've known for about a year, which after applying and going through an interview process, I can officially say that I will be interning with Tim Churchward, who is on the Pastor Leadership Team at Chroma Church in......... LEICESTER, ENGLAND.
I'M MOVING TO ENGLAND!!!
CRAZY, RIGHT!! I could not have thought this up! For those who know me, I graduated with a degree in English, which meant that at one point in my life, I always suspected that I would go to England because it, essentially, is the motherland of my major and a right of passage because I've dedicated years to learning Literature, the English Language, and its history.
I'm still in the process of applying for a visa, but I will make sure to keep you updated on that process, too! The purpose of this fundraiser is for the academic year while I am in England. The pound to dollar conversion will be different, so I'm hoping that the donations received though this fundraiser will go towards housing, transportation, and essentials. Aside from my own savings, all donations will be a great blessing!
As an intern for Tim, I will be getting to serve in multiple ministries that Tim oversees and serving Chroma Church in any they need help. During the interview, Tim emphasized that it's about serving the people at Chroma and I am so excited to create and establish connection and relationship with people. My greatest wish is that God is glorified and that people know Him though me.
Guys, this is a dream come true. The more I imagine and think about getting to arrive to Leicester, I want to start crying! God is so faithful and kind! His hand is on this and I am grateful that I can be a part of it! I would be incredibly thankful for any donation you are willing to give! I pray and ask that you know and encounter more of His presence!
