Help send our Logan Thunder U14 Boys to Nationals
Donation protected
Our Logan Thunder U14 Div 1 Boys Team recently competed at the Queensland State Championships in Townsville during the recent school holidays (June 2023). They competed hard and made the grand final, before going down in a tight game to Ipswich, winning a Silver medal. The Silver medal qualifies them for the National State Championships during the September school holidays down in Victoria. This is a huge achievement for the boys and a testament to all the hard work and effort they have put in over the whole year.
The U14 National Club Championships in Victoria is literally a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity reserved only for the u14 age group. The competition is played over a week and will gives the boys the chance to experience a high-performance environment, competing against the best representative sides from across the country in an intense tournament. It will be a week full of joy, pain, excitement, heartache, and countless other emotions, in an experience that will stay with them for a lifetime.
In order to participate and compete, the boys need to raise approx $25 000 to cover the costs of flights, car hire, accommodation, food and uniforms. The boys and their families have been working hard on local fundraising efforts, however with such a large amount needed in such a short amount of time, we are seeking any help that might be available.
This is a special group of young boys, who love basketball, love playing together, and quite frankly are really good at it! All donations, both big or small will help make this experience possible. Thank you in advance for your help!
