Help Send Priscilla (First-Gen) to Law School!
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Priscilla Meza, I am reaching out to you for your help in making my dream of attending law school become a reality.
Growing up in a single-parent household, my mother always pushed me to pursue a higher education. For as long as I can remember, my lifelong dream has been to become a lawyer. I have worked assiduously towards this goal, and I have been successfully admitted to Lincoln Law of San Jose, CA.
However, despite this accomplishment, I am unable to meet the cost of tuition and additional expenses of law school. Being the oldest of 2 children from a first-generation, single-parent, hardworking Hispanic family, Lincoln Law's tuition of approximately $22,000 a year (not including books), is simply out of my reach. I have considered taking out loans to finance this venture, however, Juris Doctor programs are not eligible for FAFSA, and I was not successful in other scholarship applications, and private loans are highly expensive to pay back.
When I complete my Juris Doctor program, I would become the first lawyer in my family. A law degree would significantly help me in supporting my family, financially and professionally. I would gain the necessary skills to be a competitive and qualified professional. Additionally, being able to attend law school would help me convert a lot of my passion to pursue entertainment law, estate planning and trust administration matters.
With all of this said, I'm significantly stretched as far as time is concerned. A donation, of whatever amount, would be greatly appreciated. Please share this link with friends & family.
Help me make this dream of mine become a reality!
Thank you,
Priscilla Meza
