Help Send PX to Worlds!

Hi everyone! My name is Peixian Rong, most people known me as PX. I am from Seattle, Washington. I am a senior at Franklin High School. I’ve recently been selected as one of the 24 female athletes across the country to represent USA at the U20 Junior World Ultimate Championship.
I started to play Ultimate Frisbee when I was in 7th grade at Asa Mercer Middle School. I was also very fortunate to be able to play for club teams Fryz, 7 Hills and 4 years of YCC on the girls & mixed division. I fell in love with the sport because the combination of competitiveness and the spirit of the game makes the game so intense yet friendly. I have helped coach Asa Mercer Middle School's 6th grade team. I am also involved with AGE UP, which is an non-profit organization empowering young women of color in South Seattle and give more resources for the players; one of our goal is to raise more money for south end Frisbee coaches (who does not get paid very much). The community has shaped me into the person I am today, I could not get here without all the support from my lovely coaches and teammates.
It has always been a goal of mine to participate in Junior Worlds. Although I am overjoyed about being selected for the team, the cost is a huge barrier for me. Coming from South Seattle, money has always hindered many south end player’s opportunities - including mine. I don’t want money to be the reason of me missing out on opportunities. This year's Junior World Ultimate Championships will be held in Waterloo, Ontario Canada. The amount it would cost me to get me there is about $3350. Other than using GoFundMe as a platform to raise money, I will also be doing bake sales/selling some of my belongings to help reach my goal. Any donation big or small will be a huge help. Even if you are not able to donate, I would appreciate it if you could share this post!
Thank you all so so much,
Peixian Rong
