Help send Roxbury Track to Oregon Nike Nationals

The Roxbury Track and Field team has qualified to compete at a national level in Eugene, Oregon and needs the community’s support to go!
The Nike Outdoor Nationals has been a competitive ground for future olympians and champion athletes from around the United States. The Roxbury Track and Field team from Morris County New Jersey became one of those esteemed teams this past indoor season, with not one but eleven athletes qualifying to compete at the one of the most famous track and field stages in the world: Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.
Seniors Caleb Stephen, Clayton Bryan, Nathanial Skutnik and Solomon McGriff worked diligently throughout the entire indoor season to qualify in the Sprint Medley right before competing in the state championships. The ladies distance team also shined, as Kate Rice, Madison Gargiulo, Halye Green, and Gabriella Daskalova qualified with their time for the 4x800m. In the field, Willow Bradley and Danielle Meribe dominated in Shot Put all season, eventually winning a Group Title, in addition to both placing top twenty in the entire state. Danielle also qualified in another field event, high jump, giving her an even rarer opportunity to compete. Alexis Merola qualified in pole vault with her group winning jump of 11-0.
With the increasingly high costs of traveling (plane tickets, hotel, food, entry fees, etc), the families of these athletes find themselves under pressure to fund this trip alone. We need the community’s support for this historic trip to Hayward Field!
The athletes mentioned above will be competing at Nike Outdoor Nationals from 06/16/22 - 06/19/22
Donations are welcome anytime, even after the athletes compete.
