Help send SCDS WPSL to the final four in Oklahoma

SC del Sol Women achieved a remarkable victory on Sunday morning, clinching the WPSL West Region title with a hard-fought 1-0 win over last year's national champions, California Storm from Northern California. This outstanding performance has earned them a spot in the WPSL Final Four, taking place in Stillwater, OK this upcoming weekend. Although our club and the league contribute to travel expenses, additional support is needed to ensure the team can make it to the tournament.

The SC del Sol WPSL team has been dominant, securing consecutive Desert Conference championships in 2022 and 2023. Despite their consistent success, they have never reached the final four until now. Throughout the summer, the dedicated SC del Sol WPSL women have shown incredible commitment, training three times a week, often as early as 6:45 am. They also manage their college workouts and hold jobs, all while striving to deliver their best performances on game days. The team consists of current players who have either come through the ranks of SC del Sol or are attending local schools such as ASU and GCU. Some of our players even have extensive experience in the WPSL, with over 13 years of participation.

What sets this team apart is their remarkable unity and cohesive play, regardless of their backgrounds or previous clubs. This team spirit has undoubtedly contributed to their success this year. Their professional approach is matched by an enjoyable and positive atmosphere, creating a top-class environment.
