Help Send Steven to VSC

In the fall of 2016, I received wonderful news that I had been selected for a month long writer's residency at the Vermont Studio Center. Based on the poems I submitted, VSC awarded me a partial artist grant ($1500) to cover some of the cost of the residency, and I'd be grateful if you could help me raise the remaining funds. Many of you have read on social media my ongoing "conversations" with a manuscript, and this residency would provide the valuable time and space to finish, revise, and polish my first full length collection of poems titled: The Understudy's Handbook.

As a teacher, editor of a small literary magazine, and a father, my schedule is continually busy, and I recognize what a rare opportunity it is to spend a month focused on making and shaping poems.

The cost of the residency, including studio space, lodging, and meals is about $152 per day. Your financial support would help cover that cost, and any donations whether small or large would be welcome. Every little bit helps.
