Help send the Cereal City Concert Band to Austria!

The Cereal City Concert Band has been invited to perform in the 2025 Mid-Europe Wind Band Music Festival in Schladming, Austria in July 2025. Last year, this prestigious festival brought together 22 counties, about 1800 foreign participants, with more than 10,000 spectators. The band is truly honored by this invitation and is excited to perform as cultural ambassadors for Southwest Michigan and to highlight Michigan talent on the world stage. In addition to performing during the festival, we will also be performing a concert for the community in Prague, Czech Republic.

We need your help to achieve this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our musicians. The total cost of sending the ensemble (approx. 55 musicians) is over $200,000 so your donation will help lessen the financial burden of this endeavor. Individual costs include transportation, accommodations, and festival fees. Our goal is to not have the cost be a factor in preventing any musician from participating.

About the Cereal City Concert Band: Founded in 1987, the CCCB is an all-volunteer, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization consisting of over 50 musicians from the Battle Creek area community. We provide the community with quality band music/performances; further the cultural growth of the community; enhance the many ongoing activities in the area; stimulate interest in instrumental music; and foster the adult band movement in the Battle Creek area. We perform 3 concerts and numerous community service events throughout the year.
