Landon started training in Muay Thai at age 6 as an outlet for his excessive energy. At that time we had no idea what Muay Thai really was and no clue what it would turn into for him.

A quick history lesson:
Muay Thai is, a combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "Art of eight limbs", as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins. Points are scored according to clean strikes; punches, kicks, elbows, knees and sweeps.
The sport of Muay Thai has deep traditions. The mongkol is a type of sacred headpiece worn by the fighter. It is a symbol of your gym, your trainers, and your family. You wear it when you enter the ring to show that when you fight it’s not all about you, it is about the people around you who have helped you along your journey. Sealing the four corners of the ring and the wai kru is a way of paying your respects to your Kru / Coach. These traditions make the sport unique and help remind the fighter the importance of respect.

Landon has trained with his Coach Jose since his first day and went from the antsy boy who couldn’t remember a combination to a skilled fighter. Landon’s first real Muay Thai fight was March 2018 when he was only 10 years old. Since then he has been obsessed with training and competing. He never missed an opportunity to practice his craft, from development / point tournaments, to smokers and sanctioned events. This calendar year he has dominated every weight from 102 lbs to 127 lbs. He holds many titles at his young age of 15. He is a 2x IKF World Champion, Freedom World Champion, WKA National Champion, TBA National Champion and the USA Muay Thai gold medalist! The USA Muay Thai tournament in Indiana this summer secured his spot on the USA team that is headed to Antalya, Turkey to compete in the 2023 IFMA Youth World Championship.

Landon (and his family) are so grateful that he has the prestigious honor to represent the USA and the sport of Muay Thai abroad.

100% of money raised (minus the gofundme fees haha) will go directly to his travel expenses.

Let’s GO LANDO!!!!! Bring home the gold!!!!
