Help Support Seneca's Family

Donation protected
After experiencing ongoing back pain Seneca went into French hospital on March 5th 2021. There the doctors determined that she had extensive kidney damage for reasons unknown. With further testing Seneca was diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma.

Multiple myeloma is a cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell. Healthy plasma cells help you fight infections by making antibodies that recognize and attack germs. In multiple myeloma, cancerous plasma cells accumulate in the bone marrow and crowd out healthy blood cells.

The diagnosis helped put all the pieces together in understanding all the various symptoms Seneca had been experiencing in the weeks and months leading up to this point.

Seneca has dedicated her life to supporting individuals with disabilities both professionally and personally. Due to her illness she has not been able to work for a period of time prior to her diagnosis. As she goes through chemotherapy and as a more clear prognosis emerges there is a possibility of medical expenses not covered by insurance. Additionally she is the primary caregiver for her adult son with autism. Keeping him living as independently as possible in the family home is of utmost importance to Seneca.

This GoFundMe was established to help support the family with both medical expenses and the financial support to maintain the home and living arrangements for her son.
