Help Señor Bici Breathe Easy: asthma medication

Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and this little guy in the photo is named Señor Bici, an adorable cat that found me and not the other way around. When I moved into my new home, there was a group of cats coming around my backyard. Being an animal lover, I always put food and water out for all of them. None of them approached me, they just came, ate the food, and left. This was happening for about two months until one day, I noticed there was a new cat in the group, Señor Bici!

He just showed up one day and I made sure there was extra food and water out for him. As I always do, I tried to approach them gently so they wouldn’t be scared of me. They would all always run but he was the only one who stood behind with a cute look on his face, looking back-and-forth, not knowing if he should approach me, or should run with the rest of the group. He just kept looking at me and slowly walked towards me as I had a piece of fish in my hand. He came up to me and it was love at first sight.❤️❤️ He eventually got comfortable with me every day that I saw him and one day I decided to leave my door open in my kitchen to see if he would come in. On my second attempt, he actually walked right into my kitchen and lay down on the carpet as if he had lived there his entire life. I loved him instantly and I felt he loved me as well.

I noticed that he had a breathing problem and I wasn’t sure what was wrong with him, but I was very scared so I called the Humane Society and asked them if they could send someone over to just take a look at him. When they came, they decided to take him back with them so the doctors could look over him and make sure he was fine, saying that they would let me know what was going on as soon as they found out. He was at the Humane Society for two weeks having tests run on him as they weren’t sure why he was having a breathing issue. I told them it freaked me out because he was shaking back-and-forth and I felt like he was getting no oxygen at all. That’s why I called them. And now the new doctor I took him too for a second opinion says he has asthma and asthma. Medication for animals is very expensive so are his vet bills so I’m asking for help for these expenses so he doesn’t pass away from an asthma attack one day while I’m gone from the house at work.

It turns out, after two weeks in the Humane Society, they said that they gave him antibiotics because he had a sinus infection and a very bad deviated septum. So when cats get hairballs, they usually cough it out, but because his nose is broken, he cannot cough the hairballs out so he chokes and gasps for air, which is a very serious situation. Seeing him go through this is heartbreaking. I knew I loved the cat and I didn’t want to lose him so I asked them if I could adopt him. They told me at first he is a TNR cat which they do not adopt out so I was so heartbroken but I begged and pleaded with the people there, please let me have him as I loved him so very much. So by the grace of God, they let me adopt him and I brought him home three weeks later. He was so happy to see me. He was so happy to be back home.

The doctor said upon picking him up that he will need surgery for his nose, because in the future, he can gasp for air again and not be able to stand up and possibly pass out and die. I get scared just to leave him alone so I’m starting a GoFundMe, asking anyone who is feeling generous to please donate to the cause as a his now asthma medication as a surgery can wait. for a cat's nose will cost $2000 plus his recovery medication will cost another $300 but at this time, I’m just looking to cover his medical bill and asthma medication i don’t want to lose this little guy. I love him so much I cannot afford this bill. I'm a mother of children and I’m struggling to come up with money to help him. Please, anyone reading this, share this GoFundMe page to anyone that might be interested in helping me out. Señor Bici is part of my family and I wouldn’t want anything to happen to him. It would just break my heart and the hearts of my three boys. God bless anyone willing to help out. God bless all.
