Help Sergey Chivilikhin

Дорогие друзья. Сережа умер сегодня ночью, 29 сентября. Двусторонняя пневмония. 
Спасибо вам всем за вашу помощь и любовь к нему. Собранные деньги помогли ему прожить последний год под внимательным уходом сиделки.  Ваши аудиописьма радовали его и помогали ему улыбаться и жить.  Сережа был удивительным человеком, глубоко думающим и чувствующим, светлым и мужественным; талантливым ученым и прекрасным преподавателем. И каждый раз он пытался помочь и поддержать. Как-то он сказал: "Пока у меня есть силы, я стараюсь по возможности создавать людям сказку".   Мы все стали лучше, мудрее и добрее благодаря ему. Покоя тебе, Сережа.

Dear Friends, 

we are raising money to help Sergey Chivilikhin to recover.

Everyone who knows Sergey knows him as a very positive and selfless man  with great sense of humor. He taught physics to generations of students and he also taught us how to be a better person.

This summer Sergey was on a hiking trip with his family and when he came back what seemed to be a little cold turned out to be a Guillain-Barre syndrome. It's a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. Unfortunately, to the doctors symptoms looked very much like a stroke, and he was treated as a stroke patient for a long time. He went through clinical death and was in coma for a long time. He is better now, but he lost his sight and almost completely  paralyzed.  But he is still himself.  He can talk and when one of his old friends complained that she does not look that good he told he that she is charming. But he is in a lot of pain and needs constant care. He is in a hospital now and his family is trying to raise money to keep him in professional hands for as long as possible. 

Please join us in helping Sergey through his journey back to recovery by contributing whatever you can. No amount is to small.

Наш друг Сергей Анатольевич Чивилихин - чудесный человек, легендарный профессор физики ИТМО, сын поэта Анатолия Чивилихина ( https://45parallel.net/anatoliy_chivilikhin/ ) . Семья его дружила с Евгением Шварцем, Вадимом Шефнером, Даниилом Граниным, Ольгой Берггольц. Сейчас Сергей тяжело заболел. Мы пытаемся собрать деньги на его лечение.
