Help Serita's Family overcome Disaster after Tragedy

On June 25, 2024 tragedy struck our friend Serita Smith and her family. During a severe storm early that morning a tree fell and destroyed their home. The family was left with the clothes on their backs; most of their possessions were destroyed. Juan (19), Serita (41), and Earnest (50) all suffered injuries that morning but are expected to make a full recovery. Unfortunately, the home is uninhabitable thus leaving them homeless. Sadly, Juan lost every possession he had as the tree fell through his room and onto him while sleeping in bed. The rest of the home is severely water damaged.

I can only imagine the fear and strength Serita experienced knowing her child was in danger and taking immediate action to get him to safety. Now, they pray for strength as they navigate how to rebuild.
