Help Seven Mountains Tai Chi Build a New Home

Donation protected
We did it! Congrats to everyone at Seven Mountains Tai Chi for helping us reach our goal this season of finding a full-time home for all of our classes!

It seems we've locked down a small place on Calder Way that should make a great home for our community. That being said, it needs a lot of love; the kind of love that costs money.

**UPDATE** to the extremely high price of licensed architects in the area, I am trying to find the most affordable architect to stamp our plans for code approval. Right now though, it seems all funs will be going towards affording an architect. Any remaining funds will go towards repair supplies as listed below**

I will be taking on the tasks of getting the space up to code in 2 months. In those two months, I'll need to purchase and install:
• drywall for a few rooms
• new ceiling fixtures and tiles
• 2 new toilets and sinks
• water heater maybe
• lights and electric fixtures
• patchwork & painting
• signage and paperwork
• a new floor in the main room
• a couch for Cooper

It seems like a lot of work, and I would love any help along the way to make this commitment a success for all of us. But right now, the main stumbling block is the funds for construction materials.

Just as a reminder, once we have the facility, we will be able to have classes every day of the week, have open practice time for you to get away for personal training, and start offering other workshops and events to enhance your overall experience in these arts. I will also be able to start offering guest visits and share, like my Master from Wudang.

If you would like to be a part of the founding of Seven Mountains Tai Chi's new chapter, every dollar goes a long way towards making this a success. And no donation is too little. Be it a can of paint, or a treat for Cooper while he waits patiently!

Thank you to everyone that has supported us these past couple of years as we've tried to set a new foundation in Centre County. I hope this next step will cement Tai Chi and the Wudang arts here in the State College community.
