Help Sew Generously After Massive Flood
Donation protected
Our dear friends, the Pew Family, have suffered so many setbacks this year. After recovering from water and fire damage in their own home, David's tailor shop (Sew Generously) has suffered a massive flood. The cause was a failed water filter in a photography studio on another floor.
Since it is an old building, and David's shop was on the first floor, his shop has sustained the most damage. It is likely going to be a month or more before he and his employees will be able to return. Inspection for mold and structural damage is forthcoming.
Much of the clothing and projects in the shop got wet, and will need to be carefully recovered and professionally dry-cleaned. Expensive sewing equipment, sewing machines, and office equipment all need to be replaced.
Please consider helping this beloved small business get back on it's feet.
