Help Shadi Get Out Of Gaza Safely - Emergency
Donation protected
My name is Saarim Asady.
I am from Toronto Canada and I am raising funds to help this innocent family from Gaza.
A few years ago, I met & hired Ameer to be my video editor for my business.
I found him from a website called Upwork.com
He lived in Gaza.
Over the years, I built a friendship with Ameer and we became very close.
He was a super talented video editor who just wanted to help his family and live a good life.
A few weeks ago, I received one of the most devastating calls of my life.
Ameer was senselessly killed when he going to get food for his family.
It broke my heart and I promised to help his family the best I could.
Recently, his brother Shadi reached out to me seeking help to escape Gaza and start a new life for himself.
Shadi is a data analyst, filmmaker, and podcaster.
He is an honour student at the University in Palestine.
He has earned certifications from Google's Scholarship program.
He was working towards a very illustrious career.
But this was all taken away from him in an instant.
Over the last 3 months,
- Shadi's brother was murdered in cold blood
- Shadi's other brother was attacked and lost his eye
- Shadi's home was bombed
- Shadi is now living in a tent with 9 other people
- Shadi has not seen the rest of his family who are in Northern Gaza for the last 3 months
He truly has lost everything he built his entire life.
All he wishes for is a fair chance at life like the rest of us.
He is a good person who wants a second chance at life.
We are looking to raise funds to help Shadi get out of Gaza and restart his life in peace in Egypt.
The costs are as follows:
- $5000 USD is the payment required to get across the border to Egypt
- $5000 USD is the payment required for Shadi to stabilize in an apartment in Gaza for a year and and purchase his necessities
- $5000 USD to help his family who are also living in tents and struggling desperately in Gaza
Every donation made will go a long way in helping Shadi have a second chance at life.
Please donate, share and spread the word so that Shadi can have a second chance at life.
He never deserved this in the first place.
