Help Shady Saed's Family Evacuate From Gaza

Hi,I am Shady Saed, the eldest son of my parents and a survivor of the challenges of Gaza nearly five years ago,thanks to my family, who sacrificed greatly to secure a future for me away from wars and conflicts.

Although my body is outside Gaza, my heart, mind, and soul are with my family, who have endured all the woes of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

After our warm family home in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza was destroyed. Their apartment in Al-Zahra Towers was settled to the ground. Their car, which used to shelter them in Khan Yunis, was destroyed; they now live in a tent in Rafah, which has become unfit for living due to the large number of displaced persons, the scarcity of foodstuffs, and the lack of income and funds.

Despite all these hardships and obstacles, Rafah will soon become a critical conflict zone unfit for any livelihood path. I am now standing on the edge of the world, thousands of kilometers away from my family, unable to do anything but cry ink to write these words in hopes that they convey even a simple depiction of our suffering as Palestinians, whether we are inside our country or outside it.

Therefore, I appeal to all of you to help me safeguard my family and rescue them from the ravages of conflict by getting them out to Egypt. This will cost $5,000 for each adult and $2,500 for each child, as my family consists of my mother, father, and five siblings.

أنا شادي سعد الابن الأكبر لوالدَي

والناجي من مصاعب غزة قبل خمسة أعوام تقريبا بفضل عائلتي التي دفعت الغالي والنفيس في سبيل أن يكون لي مستقبل بعيد عن الحروب والصراعات.. بالرغم من أن جسدي خارج غزة إلا أن قلبي وعقلي وروحي معلقين في غزة عند عائلتي التي ذاقت جميع ويلات الصراع القائم في غزة حاليا ومنذ زمن.. فبعد أن تم تدمير بيت عائلتي الدافئ في حي الشجاعية في غزة، وتم تسوية شقتهم الموجودة في أبراج الزهرة بالأرض ، وتدمير سيارتهم التي كانت تؤويهم في خانيونس ، هم الآن يعيشون في خيمة في رفح، التي أصبحت لا تصلح للعيش بسبب كثرة النازحين وشح المواد الغذائية وانعدام الدخل والأموال .. ورغم كل هذه المصاعب والمنغصات الا أن رفح ستصبح قريبا أرض صراع أساسية غير صالحة لأي سبيل من سبل العيش، وأنا الآن أقف على حافة العالم بيني وبين أهلي آلاف الكيلومترات ولا أستطيع فعل شيء سوي البكاء حبرًا لكتابة هذه الكلمات لعلها توصل ولو تصورًا بسيطًا عن معاناتنا كفلسطينيين سواء كنا داخل بلادنا أو خارجها، لذا أناشدكم جميعا بأن تساعدوني بالحفاظ على عائلتي وانتشالها من ويلات الصراع عن طريق اخراجهم إلى دولة مصر، وهذا سيكلف 5 آلاف دولار لكل شخص بالغ و2.5 ألف لكل طفل، حيث أن عائلتي مكونة من أمي، أبي، وخمسة أخوة
