Help Shahd to follow her dreams

Hello everyone,

I am Sohad Mahmoud, I am fundraising for my sister Shahd to follow her dreams and to let her continue her education journey. Also, part of the funds will goes to cover the daily life expenses of my family in South of Gaza, who were displaced from northern Gaza to the south, and they are in urgent need of help.

My parents are elderly and they need me to stand by them and support them. Through your support, I can complete my education so that I can start over and help my family meet their needs in light of the difficult circumstances we are going through.

They have lost all sources of stable income. Please consider helping them during this massacre in Gaza.

Shahd has graduated last year from high school with grade 77% and then she enrolled to study English literature at Al-Aqsa university in Gaza.

However everything goes upside down due to genocide war on Gaza and she was not able to follow their studies. Now, she has lost one-academic year and she is afraid to lose all of her academic years due to the current war.

A whole year of his life was wasted, and her dream was lost as they fled and were displaced from the IDF occupier in search of a safe place, where I should now be completing my first year at university.

Her dreams and ambitions have been destroyed as she is unable to complete her university study. As there is no chance to complete her study in Gaza even after the war because her university was heavily bombed during the conflict, rendering it completely unusable.

Her dreams & aspirations were shattered along with the destruction of the university. Her educational future became uncertain, and she is faced an unknown fate.

Thus, she is wishing to complete her studies abroad. So I would be very glad if you could help her with university fees and to cross the border safety to Egypt (when it’s open again) to be able to complete her studies and ambitions.

I don’t want her journey to end here as a war victim.

From the first week of October 2023, our warm home in Gaza, was partially destroyed due to the indiscriminate Zionist bombing of Gaza.

We had no choice but to leave our home and seek refuge in 4 different places (children hospital, Khanyounis city, Rafah city and then came back again to Khanyounis city).

We were miraculously emerged alive from under the rubble during our stay in children hospital and we forced to displace from the temporary shelter to Khanyounis city.

In the 2nd time of evacuation from children hospital to Khanyounis city, we were forced to flee on foot under bombardment by aircraft and artillery until we reached Khanyounis. We realized that there is no safe place in this city, as not a single child or child has been spared. Woman, man, animal, tree, and stone are all under threat.

Life in in the streets was harsh, but it was our only glimmer of hope for survival. We spent more than nine months under unbearable conditions. Our lives turned into a daily struggle for survival.

The situation there is horrible and I hope this war will end soon, so my family and all of Gaza’n people able to live in peace. This war burned our city, our streets, hearts and stole even our dreams.

They have no ways of obtaining income to meet their basic needs. My family which consists of:

He has muscle spasms because he has a CEREBRAL PALSY, so he needs every day a lot of doses and that’s costs about 350$ every month and he needs a special food because he doesn’t eat anything normally.
