Help Shakira Fight Cancer

My name is Shakira Shorey and I am trying to raise funds to undergo treatment for recurrent stage 4 cancer. My cancer battle began in 2015 and I have been in remission from 2017 until present. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned and is even more aggressive than before. This has meant further treatment which I am seeking overseas. The cost for this treatment is extremely expensive and I am in need of immediate help.

I am a former National Basketball and Netball player, Basketball Coach, Netball and Basketball senior manager and currently I am still involved with both fraternities in many facets including 2nd Vice President of the Barbados Amateur Basketball Association... I have proudly represented the country both as a player and as an official on many occasions through Caricom Games and international tournaments to name a few. Over the years I have also organized many sporting events. I have been a Teacher/Coach for over 15 years and proud to have made a positive contribution to countless young stalwarts in our society. Recently, I also served as 1st year representative on the UWI sports science society executive.

I have a 10 year old daughter who is my motivation to do all that I can do to get healthy and stay healthy. Cancer is a disease I would not wish upon anyone. I am therefore seeking your assistance with this fight through your donations no matter how small as every little bit helps.
