I am reaching out on behalf of Shamim Miah, a dedicated father, loving husband, and hardworking caretaker. Shamim is just 36 years old, and he has spent the last several years working tirelessly as a caretaker for a block of flats to provide for his family, including his two young children.

Recently, Shamim received devastating news – he has been diagnosed with mouth cancer. This life-changing diagnosis has brought fear and uncertainty into his life, but Shamim remains hopeful. He has been advised by his doctors to undergo urgent surgery and treatment, which could save his life. However, this means he will be unable to work for an extended period of time, leaving his family with no steady income to cover their basic needs, including his medical bills and school expenses for his children.

Shamim’s children mean the world to him, and one of his greatest concerns is ensuring they continue their education without disruption during this difficult time. With the cost of his cancer treatment and ongoing surgeries ahead, Shamim and his family are facing an overwhelming financial burden.
