Help Shamus Win Gold for Canada!

Hi! My name is Shamus Boulianne and I am a competitive Canadian paraclimber with limb difference. I'm looking for funding to compete on the international paraclimbing competition circuit this year.

I have been climbing for 4 years and began competition climbing in October 2021. Since my first competition, I have earned two third-place finishes at IFSC World Cups and recently secured a silver medal at the USA Paraclimbing National Championships (as the only international competitor). I am training hard and getting stronger every day in an effort to become the best in the world in my respective sport class. Unfortunately, this is an expensive dream, and in order to compete in the international competition circuit, I will need some help.

This year's circuit begins in May with a World Cup in Salt Lake City, Utah. Next, in June, is a World Cup in Innsbruck, Austria followed closely by another World Cup in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland. Finally, in August, is a return to Switzerland for the World Championships in Bern. The World Championship event is held once every two years and my ultimate goal is to win gold for Canada and become World Champion.

I am hoping to raise $10,000 Canadian dollars in pursuit of this goal and would be immensely grateful for any support you can offer. This money will go towards travel, accommodation, insurance, competition registration, and any other expenses relating to international travel and competition.
