Help Shandi's Family Rebuild After Tornado

Hi, my name is Sarah Christiansen and I’m raising money for my sister-in-law’s family: Shandi, her husband Jon, and their two girls, Makenna (15) and Raelin (9).

They lost their home, all belongings, two cats, and irreplaceable items in a tornado that ripped through the Elkhorn, NE area on 4/26/2024.

Their entire home was destroyed down to the foundation. They were trapped by rubble in their basement and rescued by emergency crews. We are so grateful they escaped unharmed but, the road to having a roof over their heads again will be a long and tedious journey. I’m hoping to raise money for their temporary housing, clothing, toiletries, and medications while they get back on their feet.
