Help Shane and Kayleigh through hardship

It has been hard to find the right words for you all because truthfully, there are none.

On Saturday, March 13, 2021, expectant mother Jessica Strother and Baby Ray-L were struck by a vehicle in Southgate Michigan.  Jessica and her fiance Shane were crossing over Fort Street when the vehicle struck her and soon to be born Baby Ray-L leaving this a fatal hit and run. The man that struck them made no attempt to hit his breaks nor stop to check on the well-being of the situation. 

Jessica and Baby Ray-L were then rushed to Southshore Hospital in Trenton where She was given an emergency C-Section where very sadly neither Jessica nor Ray-L survived.

Jessica has left behind her 17-year-old daughter Kayleigh, and her finance Shane. Shane not only had to witness this horrific accident right in front of him but tried everything he could along with a few other pedestrians that tried to save Jessica and Baby Ray-L. Jessica was a loving and devoted mother and soon-to-be a wife and newly expectant mother.

We wanted to set up a fund to help Shane and Kayleigh cover expenses associated with this tragedy and also make sure her family can handle this loss financially.
