Help Shane McCoy financially due to health.

Hi, I’m Michael Newton and I have set up this fundraiser to help a friend in need. Shane McCoy had started having health issues earlier this year. The issue started with swelling in the feet and lower legs. With in weeks the swelling started getting worse with the swelling moving all over his body from head to toes.

Shane has been in several hospitals for weeks at a time trying to figure out what was wrong. Test after test to finally find out that he has a rare disease called Renal Amyloidosis. This disease causes the protein in your body to leave deposits in the body’s organ causing organ failure. He also has an hereditary issue in his bone marrow and it can’t be cured. His kidneys have lost over 65% of function. There’s so much to list that he is going through. It’s very sad.

Currently Shane has to have dialysis 3-4 times a week and chemo 1-2 times a week. He is unable to work or basically be able to walk for very far at all. Shane is the type of person that would help anyone he can and would be happy doing it. Ask anyone that knows him and they would tell you the same.
