Help Shanelly Fight Rare and Aggressive Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Shanelly is a bright and talented 12-year-old girl whose life changed in November 2024 when she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain cancer. Her family and friends from Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia, and around the world were heartbroken by the news.
Despite the diagnosis, Shanelly remains full of light and joy. She has always shared her love for music and dance, which makes everyone around her happy. But now, instead of enjoying school and spending time with her younger brother, she spends her days undergoing medical tests, brain scans, surgeries, hospital visits, and treatments to give her the best chance at recovery.
Shanelly and her family have a long and difficult journey ahead. She needs special cancer treatments, more brain surgeries, and visits to specialists in other countries. These treatments are expensive, and her family must also pay for travel and accommodation to get the best care for Shanelly.
Shanelly is determined to beat cancer, not only for herself but to inspire other children fighting similar battles. She dreams of returning to music and dance, living a happy life like every child deserves.
How You Can Help
Shanelly’s family cannot do this alone. Your help, no matter how small, can make a big difference. Your donations will go towards:
- Special cancer treatments to give Shanelly the best chance at recovery.
- Travel and accommodation for treatments and consultations abroad.
- Emotional and educational support for Shanelly.
Shanelly’s parents (Lushanka Wanigasekera and Narmadha Wanigasekera) are very grateful for the love and support they’ve already received. If you can donate, it would mean a lot to them. If you can’t donate, your love, prayers, and emotional support are just as important.
Your kindness and support are so important to her and her family. Thank you for standing with Shanelly during this tough time. Together, we can make a real difference in her fight against cancer.
