Hello all I am fundraising for Shane Thompson and his family. Rose (Terens) and Shane have been married for 24 years and he is her soulmate and she is his they are inseparable. They live in Cato/Clarks Mills area Shaner is only 50 yrs old. He has 2 daughters Heidi and Emily who are in their 20’s. And 2 cats (Teeny and Tiny Thompson, which is yes Shane’s sense of humor) in their 3rd year of life. 3 sisters Nicky, Tanya, and Shelly. as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws who love him so much and so worried about him.
For those that may not know Shane is not doing so well, he went into the ER on the 26th with abdominal pain and within a couple hours after being admitted for pancreatitis, Rose called so upset as they had to  they move him to ICU and wasn’t doing well at all and the doctors gave him a grim outlook. He is on life support and fighting for his life. He is now on dialysis which may or may not be permanent, he is on multiple IV fluids to keep his blood pressure high enough, he has a large cut down the middle of his stomach that is kept open with a wound vac dressing on to help take pressure off organs so they can hopefully start working on their own, his liver is shutting down more and more by the day, and now, a piece of his colon has died and he will have a colostomy when the tissue is healthy enough to do so.  Those who know Shane know he will be in awe when he finds out what all has happened and what he all went through! Every hour that passes and he is still with us is a blessing! He will also feel bad for having scared us like we all are! My sister, (Shane’s wife) Rose is in need of help, as neither of them are working right now due to this terrible crisis they are going through. Shaner is near Milwaukee which is too far for Rose to go home, but too close for an extended stay at the hospital in a room. Hotels are not cheap around here and money is becoming very tight, not to mention the hospital bills they will be having come their way. I am starting the goal at $50,000 because we all know how much intensive care is. Please if you can help, Share this or donate that would be amazing!!!
