Help Shanice's children & family
Donation protected
On May 19th, 2022, at 11:19 P.M., Shanice Gonzalez, a 24-year-old single mother of two, stepped outside to speak with someone.
Just minutes after she left the front door, gunshots rang out on Truman Ave. Chaos ensued, and a life was taken from this world too soon.
Shanice leaves behind a 9-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Shanice was a happy soul. She was always joking around with friends and family and was always full of energy! Shanice was a hard worker, and that was made evident through how she treated her children. She made sure that they did not go without. Shanice was generous and would do anything for anyone if they asked.
Shanice did not have funeral arrangements or insurance to handle these expenses. The heavy burden of all of this is falling on a family that is broken and in need of help. Any money left over after funeral expenses will be put into an account for her children to receive at a later time. Her cousin Jatsie Platero will be handling all the money received.
Please pray for her family during this difficult time, and please help alleviate this heavy burden.
