Help Shanley, Lila, & Johnny Replace Entire Home

Hi, my name is Shanley and I am a mother of two, Lila, 12, and Johnny, 11.

I wouldn’t normally do something like this, but this is DRASTIC and just heartbreaking.

Over the holidays, the kids and I’s apartment was burglarized and vandalized. What they did not steal, they completely destroyed. It is currently under investigation. They think it was random and gang-related, clearly a few people at least, and clearly on some serious drugs.. .(and partying, we found several cans and bottles of alcohol.) I am still in complete shock and denial, as are the kids. Imagine us all walking into this.. Thank the Good Lord we were not there. I am still sick. It was spotless! They even used my dishes then trashed them because there wasn’t even one dirty from us! ‍♀️

We have a lot of things that need replacing and with that and as far as cleaning and rummaging through the rubble to see what I can salvage, I have my work cut out for me. Beggars can’t be choosers so ANY items you have lying around and don’t need or want anymore, we would be forever grateful for. I am moving the little I can salvage to a storage unit which I can’t get in until Monday, the 3rd, while I look for another place.

It is going to take an Act of GOD for us to get through this.

The following items were stolen or destroyed (among many others I will work on taking note of anything I missed, photos in comments.)

-40 inch TV

-Wall Decour and paintings

-two brand new area rugs

-two couches

-10 sets of black out blinds

-three mattresses and box springs (I am not sure if they Peed on them or use drugs on them or hid needles in them so I feel like I should probably replace them)

-two end table lamps

-throw pillows

-My brand new bedding and the kids’ bedding and our extra blankets and bed pillows

-most of my books including Bibles

-Keurig

Microwave

-blender

-Pots, pans, utensils, cups, bowls, plates, knife set, crockpot, just kitchenware in general

-food

-paper towels

-fruit basket

-all kitchen chairs were destroyed

-Laundry pods, dish soap, Bleach, household cleaners for bathroom kitchen and floors, broom, mop

-towels, bath mat

-all my meds and vitamins

-all our jewelry

-Teenage room decor and adult also living room and kitchen decor

-tapestries & dream catchers

-chromebook

-home phone

——Clothes.

-2 women’s Burton winter coats, various shoes & boots, all sorts of kids and women’s clothing

-Shanley- size 4 (27) & sm/md size 7.5 shoes/boots

-Lila- size 2/sm in women’s size 8- 8.5 shoes/boots

-Johnny- size 12/14 boys, size men’s 7.5 WIDE shoes/ boots

And much much more… I am still taking inventory.
