Hi, my name is Patti. Not so long ago and not very far away, a beautiful young woman (and my daughter), Shannon, got married --- shown happily on her way to her wedding. On Feb 12, she married her sweetheart, Renzo. They are very happy.

Not 3 weeks later, Shannon was in excruciating pain and ended up having emergency surgery (she's recovering nicely).
