Help Shannon's family with her funeral expenses.

Hi, my name is Angus, I am Shannon Madsen's brother in law and would like to request any assistance you can offer.

Bob and Shannon have lived their lives well. Have raised their children with strong christian and American values. In many ways they have lived very typical lives sacrificing their time, talents and abilities for the betterment of others. Bob ran a small ornamental iron work business mostly from his garage and Shannon worked as an elementary school librarian helping students in their studies.

Some years back through a simple error Bob lost Shannon's life insurance and in more recent years Shannon was diagnosed with Frontal Temporal Lobe Dementia. Her symptoms became noticeable far back as 2017. And as the disease progressed we have slowly lost the vibrant person that was Shannie.

Through every step of the way Bob has been such a kind, patient and tender husband. Caring for her every need and sharing her journey with family in a most honorable and loving way. His children have been most supportive doing as much as they could, even during this difficult time with Covid restrictions in place. But at her side through every step, without pause Bob has been next to her, taking care of her with so much honor and tenderness.

Now, as she has reached her final stages of life, the weight of medical and funeral expenses are becoming more real and burdensome. I humbly request any assistance as we try to raise some funds to help Bob with these end of life expenses so he can focus on his wife's last moments together. Thank you for whatever you are able to give. I know this story is not unique and frankly I am out of my comfort zone doing this, but my love and respect for these great people compels me to try.
