Help Farhad and his family get a used car

Farhad (we changed the name to protect the privacy of the family) and his family had to flee to the United States after the rise of the Taliban, seeking safety through the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program with a recommendation from the US armed forces. For nearly a decade, Farhad had served at the Department of State Annex at Jalalabad Airfield in Afghanistan. However, in 2021, he had to make the difficult decision to leave everything behind to protect his life and that of his family.
Now settled in St. Louis, Farhad and his wife, Shirin (we changed the name to protect the privacy of the family), are determined to start a new life in the United States. They have four lovely children, and Shirin currently takes care of them while Farhad works hard to support the family. Despite his previous position as a commander, Farhad now works at Bausch and Lomb from 4 PM to 3 AM, earning minimum wage.
Throughout the past year, Farhad's friend, Shakil, has been exceptionally generous in providing Farhad with transportation, giving him a ride to and from work daily. However, Shakil is now moving to another company, and he can no longer assist Farhad with transportation.
Farhad is now in urgent need of a car to be able to commute to work. He shared that his children are eagerly waiting for the day the family can have a car so they can go to a park together.
Despite the challenges they face, Farhad and Shirin remain optimistic about their future in the United States and are deeply grateful for the opportunities they have been given. Your support can make a significant difference in helping them get back on their feet. Even a small donation towards buying a used car would be immensely appreciated.
Thank you for considering extending a helping hand to Farhad and his family as they strive to rebuild their lives and create a brighter future for their children. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful impact on their journey to stability and happiness.
