Help Us Remember Sophia Larson and Promote "Lost Innocence"**
Dear friends,
My name is Alec Larson, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My beautiful daughter, Sophia Larson, tragically passed away at the tender age of five after accidentally ingesting her mother’s crystal meth. This devastating incident occurred while her mother was partying with friends, turning a little girl's thirst into a fatal accident that has forever changed our lives.
Determined to honor Sophia’s memory and raise awareness to prevent such tragedies in the future, we invested nearly $100,000 into creating "Lost Innocence: The Story of Sophia Larson." This heartfelt film, produced by Eric Carroll of Dad Talk Today, has been completed for a year now, but we lack the funds to promote it and seek distribution.
Sophia's story is more than a personal tragedy; it's a call to action. We created this film to shine a light on the harrowing dangers of substance abuse, the failures of the family court system, and to preserve the memory of a sweet soul who was taken from us far too soon.
To effectively share Sophia’s story with the world, we need your help. Our goal is to submit "Lost Innocence" to film festivals, seek distribution, and organize premieres in movie theaters. All of this requires financial support, which is why we have set up this GoFundMe campaign.
Your contributions will help us:
- Submit "Lost Innocence" to various film festivals
- Seek opportunities for distribution
- Organize premieres and screenings in movie theaters
- Create promotional materials to spread Sophia’s story far and wide
We are committed to providing periodic updates to keep you informed about our progress and how your generous donations are being used.
With every donation, you are helping to ensure that Sophia Larson is remembered and that her story serves as a powerful warning to prevent other families from experiencing similar heartbreak.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for keeping Sophia’s memory alive.
Sincerely,
Alec Larson
