Help Sharon Lavigne rebuild her home

My name is Sharon Lavigne and I live in St. James, Louisiana. Hurricane Ida was the worst hurricane I’ve ever experienced since I’ve been living in my home.

I was home at the time and I kept hearing things falling in my house. I heard the ceiling falling in the living room. I heard the ceiling falling upstairs. It was scary not knowing when it was going to stop, but it is all material things. What’s more important than somebody’s life? Material things can be replaced.

This fundraiser helps me to rebuild my home again and get back on my feet. As of now, we will be out of electricity until September 28 but God is good all the time because we did not lose any lives in St. James. You can always regain material things but you can’t regain someone’s life so it’s a blessing.
