Help Sharon recover from hit and run accident
I have been a close close family friend for the past 25+ years, and want to support them in this time of need. Sharon has been a 2nd mom to many of us.
On September 29th at 7:00 Sharon was hit and run over at the crosswalk at West Oaks Mall in Abbotsford, BC at the entrance to London Drugs. The driver of the car briefly stopped before taking off and leaving the scene of the accident, making this a horrific hit and run accident. Her daughter Nikki witnessed all of this, and Sharon was rushed to Royal Columbian Hospital with devastating injuries. She has been left with a broken ankle, shoulder, neck, and back. As well she has a fractured face and skull, and has already had to have surgery to have her eye repaired as it was damaged when the car ran over her.
She has a long road to recovery ahead of her and as of right now no one, not even the doctors, knows what that is going to look like. Her daughters live in Abbotsford and Edmonton so supporting and caring for her is going to be a costly endeavour, and also an emotional one to recover from the trauma of witnessing it firsthand. Money raised will be used to help the family with expenses while Sharon is in the hospital, as well as making sure she has proper care and therapies once she makes it out of the hospital. We don’t want this to burden them financially in anyway, so please if you can help lighten the load as they travel back and forth to visit and care for Sharon as she recovers please do ❤️
The Abbotsford Police Department is asking for anyone who was in the area to please checktheir dash cams or security footage to see if they have footage of the accident or vehicle, andto please call 604-859-5225 or to text the Department at 22973 (abbypd).

On behalf of the Beckett, Hatt, and Seymour families, we thank you all for your continued well wishes, support, and love ❤️
