Help Sharon with Unexpected Medical Bills

We are Sharon's children and are raising funds to cover her recent and unexpected medical bills. When she recently visited the Emergency Room, a scan showed two large nodules in her left lung. After seeing a pulmonologist, a PET Scan and lung biopsy were recommended to test the potentially cancerous nodules. While her health insurance will cover more than $30,000 of the cost of these procedures, that leaves $10,000 or more of medical bills that she will have to cover out of pocket. Sharon's health plan has a very high deductible that she cannot meet on her own.

Sharon is a hard-working, single woman who works full time. She enjoys spending time outside, especially near the lake close to her home. Sharon is an active Grandmother to 10 and enjoys nothing more than playing with and spending time with her grandchildren, 4 children and sons and daughters in law. She often serves as a part-time nanny for her 5 youngest grandchildren, all under the age of 3. She also serves as caretaker to her mother, driving her to appointments, making her meals and helping her with daily tasks.
