Help Shawn with medical bills and recovery

Hi everyone,

This fund has been set up to help our friend and colleague Shawn Newsome. Shawn, for the past few months has been fighting off Renal failure and a flesh eating bacteria. He underwent surgery and is starting his recovery process which consists of more procedures, surgical wound healing and therapy going into 2022. Since starting treatment Shawn has been unable to work. In an effort to alleviate the financial burden of his medical bills, this GoFundMe page has been created to help cover costs. Every amount donated is an immense help and will be greatly appreciated. Whether you're a family member, close friend, acquaintance or even a stranger to Shawn we want to thank you for your consideration and generosity in these trying times.

This fundraiser was initiated and started by Shawn's co- workers with his permission. All funds collected will go to Shawn and his family. They will use the funds to pay medical expenses as well as living expenses as Shawn is unable to work at this time.
