Help Shawna knock out ovarian cancer!!

My name is Jaime Hurt and I am fundraising for my sister Shawna Greene. On August 31st 2021, Shawna underwent surgery to remove a football sized mass from her lower abdomen. Her doctors were certain the mass was benign, and sent it off to pathology for biopsy. A few days later she received her biopsy results: ovarian cancer! A second surgery for a complete hysterectomy was immediately scheduled for September 13th, just 13 days after her first surgery. This put Shawna off work for the next month as she recovered. On October 12th she received a port for chemotherapy, implanted under the skin just below her collarbone. She started her first of 6 sessions (6 hours long each!!) of chemo on October 15th.

My sister Shawna is the kindest, most caring, loving and generous person I have ever known. She has always been my rock and my biggest supporter through all the trying times in my life. Shawna loves everyone unconditionally and would give anyone the shirt off her back if she felt they needed it more. She is always there to help when anyone is in need, without being asked to do so.

My sister needs us now more than ever! The last thing Shawna should have to worry about is the overwhelming amounts of the medical bills that keep coming in.
