Help Shedrack pay for College tuition

Hi, my name is Shedrack; I am an international student born in Uganda. I was raised in South Africa. I have always dreamed of studying in the United States of America for a better education, and last summer, my dream came true.

Unfortunately, due to covid and other personal reasons. My parent's businesses have been losing money rapidly, which causes problems with the payment for my tuition. They have already sacrificed so much and have used their savings to help pay for my college education. I cannot take out a loan in America because I am not eligible. Making a GoFundMe is my last resort, and I have been doing everything I can to avoid this.

Due to my visa's terms, my work opportunities are extremely minimal. I have worked for the school because I can only work on campus, but the payout has been fruitless. So, it has not been helping with my tuition and barely covers living expenses. I have been trying to find new ways to raise funds for my education and follow my dream of living in America by making my own clothing brand. However, the money raised was nowhere close to 24,000 needed. International students' tuition and living expenses are so much more expensive, and there haven't been any scholarships available for international students.

 

I would love to stay here in America because of the opportunities. Uganda is not an excellent place to study and work on your dreams. The United States of America is where dreams and hopes are attained. I am working on getting other forms of financial aid for the next semester because there is an extremely long waiting list. I was given approximately two weeks to confirm my attendance before being deported.
