Help Sheldon's road to recovery

When people hear the name Sheldon, they instantly think of the show The Big Bang Theory, I think of my four legged friend. Sheldon is an almost 5 year old lab mix and has been through some of my most difficult times with me. He's always by my side and keeps me going when I feel I can't anymore. Right now Sheldon is going through his own hard time and needs me more than ever. He was attacked by another dog and suffered four puncuture wounds to his back leg. He's had countless procedures done to help the healing process, but now it looks like he needs another surgery.

An infection that may have traveled down to his bone is threatening the leg. I am doing everything In my power to keep up with his medical bills. I've paid hundreds so far, and gone hundreds more into debt getting him the care he needs. And if it means in order for him to get his surgery and recover from this nightmare, I have to ask for help, then I will. Sheldon is a swimmer, runner, hiker, and all around goofball. I don't want him to have to spend his adult into senior years, learning to be on three legs when all he knows is four. I want the best for him and this surgery is the best option.

I'm asking that you take a minute to think of your four legged friend and how you would do anything to keep them safe and healthy. I was one of those people that said you should never have a dog if you can't properly pay for their needs, and now I am one of those people who has wiped out their savings treating him, and know now that people need help sometimes. I can't imagine life without my best friend and I'm asking now, in the spirit of Christmas, if you could donate to help Sheldon reach his road of recovery.
