Help Shemar Rebuild His Photography Dream

Hi, my name is Shemar, and I’m a photographer and creative who relies on my equipment to make a living. Unfortunately, I recently experienced a devastating loss.

On my way to a photoshoot, I was pulled over and unexpectedly arrested. I was assured that my car and belongings would be safe while I was in custody, but that was far from the truth. The police parked my car on Jamaica Ave overnight, and by the time I was released, everything was gone.

When I returned to my car, I found the window smashed and over $20,000 worth of equipment stolen, including:

My cameras

My lenses and lights

My laptop and hard drives

My SD cards and all my creative work

Everything I’ve worked so hard for was taken in an instant. This loss has completely set me back, both financially and professionally. As a photographer, my gear is my livelihood, and without it, I can’t work or create.
