Help Sheri walk again

For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Daca and I’m organizing this fundraiser for our sweet friend, Sheri. If you don’t her, let me share that she is one of the most loving and generous souls you will ever have the privilege of knowing. Her infectious positive influence has brought light and laughter to so many lives. She is the mother of Garrett and Nolan, wife to Steve and caregiver to countless lives over her 35-year career as a nurse.

As we know, life is unpredictable and due to unforeseen circumstances, it is now her turn to be cared for. Mid-January she was experiencing severe back pain which led to emergency spinal cord surgery to remove an abscess in her spine, which has left her with the inability to walk. As of now, her targeted release date is March 5th. It has been and continues to be a difficult time for her as she navigates her new normal and the challenges she will face upon her return to home. The needs may appear insurmountable but we know with the right amount of generosity, love, support, faith and prayers, no ask is too great. In the immediate future, she will need a wheelchair accessible vehicle, a ramp will need yo be installed, bed, and a full-time nurse to care for her as she works tirelessly to recover and heal while learning to walk again and her husband continues to work full-time.
