KPD Ofc. Sherman Benys Killed in the Line of Duty

Hi, my name is Joe Munoz. I am the current President of the Kingsville Police Department Former Officers & Employees Association. On Monday, November 1, 2021 the unthinkable happened in the Kingsville Community. One of Kingsville's Finest, Officer Sherman Benys was Killed in the line of duty in the commission of his duties as a Texas Peace Officer. Unfortunately, Kingsville does not have a 100 Club to assist with funds for family.  The family will need prayers more than anything, but his family will need monetary donations to help for the obvious, food, bills, house and car payments. Please find it in your heart to give a little, it will go a long way. God Bless!

Instead of getting private banking information from the Benys family and not having to bother them in a time of mourning, Kingsville Police Department Former Officers & Employees Association has taken it upon themselves to include our Associations' banking information and have authorized our Treasurer, Tony Gonzales to access funds and in turn deliver them to the Benys family.
