Help Shilo get back on his feet
Donation protected
Our friend, Shilo, was out riding his motorcycle on Saturday Feb 13th when a pickup made an unexpected left turn in front of him, where he broadsided the pickup at highway speeds. Despite the intensity of the impact, we are very grateful that no head or spinal injuries happened and yet, he's had numerous broken bones in his femur, foot, ankle and hand and multiple surgeries to put him back together. With all of his injuries and subsequent surgeries, he's now practically a bionic human, but still only has one good limb.
He was released from the hospital February 26th, and will require 24/7 care for about 6-8 weeks or until he can put weight on his broken foot.
He has a long road to recovery and will be out of work for quite some time. Shilo and Martha would be grateful for any help to counteract the combination of being out of work, having substantial hospital bills, and having to purchase home care supplies.
We appreciate any help; no donation is too small. Please share this with anyone who is interested in donating. Lastly, always use your blinker and look twice for motorcycles.
