Help Shonnie fight cancer!
Dear friends, family, and colleagues...
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping my dear friend Shonnie fight and beat her cancer diagnoses.
Shonnie Aisenbrey- Taylor received the news that she has stage 3 colorectal cancer on May 8th, 2020. Treatment of chemotherapy and radiation begins in two weeks, and is expected to last a minimum of six weeks. Shonnie’s treatment protocol isexpected to be extremely rigorous, and due to her pre-existing conditions of lupus, COPD, and RA, doctors are worried she will be unable to continue to work, and therefore will lose her insurance that is supplied through her employer.
Shonnie is one of my oldest, and most treasured friends- our friendship dates back to 1984! She has always been an extremely hard worker, loving caretaker, and dedicated friend. She is a widow, and has been raising her 16 year old grandson Chaun since he was 6 months old, all while maintaining her job in the industrial construction industry. Shonnie has always been the giver, and now it’s time for us to step up and help her.
Money raised will go towards Shonnie’s medical expenses- including medicine, copayments, and also towards living expenses for her and her grandson if she loses her job due to an inability to work while undergoing treatment.
We appreciate any support you are able to give, and understand that times are tumultuous for everyone given the current crisis; Shonnie’s diagnoses was delayed by almost 4 months due to the pandemic.
Wishing you all health and happiness. May God bless you.
