This is Daniel Chapin, The founder of The Uvalde Foundation For Kids. I have initiated the below SPECIAL GOFUNDME to aide the school officer shot recently in Utica/NY @ Thomas R Proctor HS. The below was our recently released press release. This GOFUNDME will be updated often! Thank you in advance for helping us reach out in support of this brave officer, Jeff Lynch, who was simply trying to do what more of us in this nation NEED TO DO - PROTECT OUR STUDENTS!

UTICA/NATIONAL — A large fight occurred after a football game at Thomas R Proctor High School/Utica City School District parking lot this week. A UCSD security officer was shot in the back of the head & is currently listed as in critical but stable condition.

The Uvalde Foundation for Kids, a national nonprofit formed following the Uvalde, Texas school shooting; announced Monday morning, that it has added an official GOFUNDME donation for those wishing to aide the severely injured officer, Jeff Lynch at this time.

Foundation officials noted that for accountability purposes & to ensure direct distribution of funds raised to the officer; the fund is set to be overseen by its current board with oversight requested as well via the school and available family.

Donations will be utilized for emergency relief efforts to aide in the medical and other immediate expenses of the injured school officer; such as household bills, etc. The foundation release noted that it has also contacted school district officials and law enforcement to advise on the current fundraising efforts.
