Help Siargao Survivors from Super Typhoon Odette

We are the Motel Family and we are fundraising in behalf of the survivors of the super typhoon Odette in Siargao and neighboring areas. By God's grace, many people were safe and confirmed alive from the typhoon, however they are facing another calamity which is due to very sparse supplies of clean drinking water, medicine, food, shelter, toiletries, and other basic necessities. We would like to ask for any amount of donations to help these people in need. All the amount that will be gathered will go directly to the severely affected areas in Siargao and other neighboring areas. We can also provide a list of the donations and where they were allocated to for transparency if needed.

Just when we thought lockdowns and pandemic is the worst that could happen, super typhoon Odette (Rai) changed the lives of thousands of us in our island home Siargao in just 6 hours. Leaving no single house free from damages.

It's so heartbreaking to see everything we worked so hard to build for years come into this. Despite the severe damages on infrastructures, we are still very thankful that we still have each other, alive and safe.

Siargao has been our home for years and seeing how it is now after the super typhoon is very heartbreaking. It will take time before it fully heals. It would take a while to rebuild businesses, but we are very positive and hopeful that once the community and the island have fully recovered, everything else will follow.

We are still here on the island, committed to help the community in any way we can. We are currently in short of funds to help a lot of people in need here. The Island, and its people need your help now, more than ever. We are counting on you. Please donate if you can, any amount no matter how small would go along way.
